Magnetic ells that guide fish found in trout

For the first time in any animal, scientists have isolated magnetic cells in rainbow trout that swims to its original hatching ground, likely relying on many senses as well as Earth’s magnetic fields. The Seattle Times has lots of details of the discovery.
