Scientist at work: Following a wolf pack

It just so happens that I’m reading novelist Nevada Barr’s “Winter Study” at the moment. The mystery is about the long-running winter study of wolves on Isle Royale National Park, Michigan. And here’s a feature article from today’s NY Times about a similar theme. Also coincidentally, I was the public affairs officer for the 8th Fighter Wing at Kunsan Air Base, South Korea, from June 85 to June 86. The wing’s nickname is “Wolf Pack.”
