NPS chief bottles plastic water bottle ban at Grand Canyon National Park

This is a classic case study of the power of big money. Never mind about doing the right thing, like banning tourists from quenching their thirst from plastic water bottles. The Coca-Cola Inc., bottler of the Dasani brand of bottled water, raised its flag through the National Park Foundation (to which it has given big money) and like magic the proposed ban disappears.
