Dam removal – from Maine to Pacific

The campaign to remove dams shackling rivers from coast to coast has been active for more than a decade. Good. But there are still major impediments out there to the free and unimpeded movement of Wild Nature: Glen Canyon Dam in Arizona and the four hydroelectric dams on the lower Snake River. Making it all worse was the talk last fall of rebuilding the failed Teton River dam in southeastern Idaho. Read about it all in this article.
