Greenhouse gases and new-car stickers

The plan to beef up the amount of data new-car buyers will see on those window sales stickers in showrooms starting in another year or so is good. But the basic problem for land and fish and wildlife remains the very presence of the private automobile. The NY Times offers this sticker shock editorial, but it doesn’t adddress the impacts of roads on wildlife and biodiversity.
