That would be the Bicknell’s Thrush, which breeds on only the highest of the Green Mountains of Vermont, as well as the high peaks of the Adirondacks and the loftier peaks in New Hampshire and elsewhere up into Maine and Canadian Maritime Provinces. Read about the thrush’s plight.
