Open letter from a not-endangered endangered plant

Speaks for itself. But recall after reading it that the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service a few days ago decided not to list the plant under the Endangered Species Act.

looks like litigation…
it will be interesting to see how the judge responds, the re-consideration for listing was court ordered as a judge looked at the FWS politically-motivated, junk-science-induced decision not to list and ordered a second look. it seems the folks at interior remain politically hesitant to do just that…

I would say so. This is too often the case. Lots and lots of money could be saved if the federal land management agencies just did their job in accordance with the law.
